Synopsis

Sheela Marks is one of Hollywood's hottest actresses, earning $20 million a picture. As she returns to her hotel after winning her first Academy Award, she is attacked by a man wielding what seems to be a syringe. Sheela's entourage manages to shield her from the attacker, but he gets away unharmed. Daily headlines tell of attacks on celebrities and odd thefts - stolen bed sheets, a look of hair. Sheela turns to her head of security, Lymon Bridges, for protection. Bridges, a former FBI agent, vows that Sheela will never fall victim to these bizarre attacks. But everywhere the actress goes, strange encounters occur and it is clear to Bridges that the attackers won't stop until they get what they're after...whatever it is. Anxious to uncover the truth behind the string of A-list celebrity assaults, Bridges hires private investigator Christal Anaya. Anaya was a young FBI hot shot when a major slip-up cost her one of the agency's most important cases and her job. Desperate for action, Anaya takes the job, but soon finds that Hollywood is far stranger than anything she saw in her days with the Bureau. Bridges turns Sheela Marks' home into a highly-secure compound, and the star secludes herself in what she hopes is safety. Meanwhile, Anaya is hot on a trail of evidence that leads to Genesis Athena, a corporation shrouded in secrecy, and to a rich and powerful sheik who surrounds himself with the world's most beautiful people. The deeper Anaya digs, the more questions she unearths. Hollywood's biggest stars are in a lot more danger than they realize!
