In tight little sketches Mercer takes on such issues as the Reform Party, lying, Our National Shame, fish stocks, taxes, homosexuality, Toronto crime, and MP's salaries - yes there's a strong political bent. UNillustrated. Cond : Paper wrapper is red with white lettering. Front cover graphic shows Mercer perched on a wharf post and wearing rubber boots. Edges, corners, and spine are all fine +. Colours bright, binding tight. No names, marks, bumps, tears, folds, nor stains. Decidedly giftable !! Quote (clever twist on the anti-gay argument) (p. 38) : " . and they'll take a mile.
