Born in Montreal and educated in both Canada and the U.S.A., the fluently bilingual Peter Scowen has been a journalist and newspaper editor in Quebec and Ontario since 1983, working at the Montreal Mirror and the Hour, CBC Radio News, and the National Post. Today he works at the Toronto Star.
