Dr. Noble S. Proctor was a professor of Ornithology at Southern Connecticut State University for 34 years, where he is now Professor Emeritus. With over 50 years field experience throughout North America, he has also spent nearly 40 years leading bird from around the world, from Central and Southern America to Australia and New Guinea. An avid photographer and a prolific author, Dr. Proctor has published more than five books on ornithology.
