A propos du livre

Présentation de l'éditeur

Funny, poignant and philosophical, The Cats of Moon Cottage celebrates the joys and the heartache of living with cats. Beautifully written, it tells the true story of two cats. One is the old, loyal, but independent Septi, very much his own cat, established as lord of his domain within Moon Cottage. The other being Otto, a tiny delicate tortoiseshell kitten, who joins the household as the story begins and who, for her survival and in a manner particular to her, must set out to win Septi over.

This wonderful memoir will ring true with all who love cats and is a testimony and a tribute to that unique and rewarding relationship which exists between humans and their feline companions in which cats, in their splendid complexity, remain among us, but not of us.

Revue de presse

If how society treats animals is a measure of our humanity, Marilyn Edwards
gives me hope for mankind. The Cats of Moon Cottage is at once engaging and
uplifting--a colorful chronicle that celebrates the many ways animals enrich
our relationships and our lives. It's catnip for anyone who has ever loved
a feline

(Karin Slaughter)

All the many delights and a few of the heartaches of a life with cats are
told with charm and wit. A vivid, honest, observant and involving book

(Dr Desmond Morris)

Cat lovers will adore this book. I know I did. A tender story of love
between the author and her cats."

(Celia Haddon)
