ASHRM initiatives focus on developing and implementing safe and effective patient care practices, the preservation of financial resources, and the maintenance of safe working environments. Roberta Carroll, ARM, MBA, CPCU, CPHRM, is director, Risk Management at Aon Risk Consultants in Tampa, Flordia. She is a frequent speaker in the health care risk management areas of risk financing, claims administration, loss control, captive management, strategic planning, and reengineering. A past president of ASHRM, she has served on its board of directors for six years.
