Cleveland McDonald (Ph.D., Ohio State University) taught sociology at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, for many years and also served as a pastor and missionary. His son, Philip M. McDonald (Ph.D., Michigan State University), earned his doctorate in international education at the Institute for International Studies in Education, Michigan State University.
