Trade Paperback. Etat : New. Reprint. Baltimore: Johns Hopkins, 2000. First edition, second printing. 8vo. Trade paperback, 258 pp. "Josephine Jacobsen's quietly articulated observations have the dark resonance of great art," assayed the American Academy of Arts when presenting her with a citation in 1994, also saying that her spare diction combines the passionate commitment of Louise Bogan with the precision and compactness of Elizabeth Bishop and Marianne Moore. This National Book Award-nominated collection contains 176 poems, written between 1935 and 1994, spanning every period of Jacobsen's career. New condition. N° de réf. du vendeur 008419
