Mouton is the director and chief executive officer of the Stereology Resource Center, Inc., a professor of stereology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine, and the author of Principles and Practices of Unbiased Stereology: An Introduction for Bioscientists, also published by Johns Hopkins. Through stereology workshops and short courses in North America, Europe, and Australia, he has trained thousands of biomedical researchers in the application of unbiased stereology.
