Ruth Sanderson brings to this familiar story her experience as the illustrator of over sixty books for children, including Saints: Lives and Illuminations (Eerdmans), Cinderella, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, and Tapestries: Stories of Women in the Bible (all Little, Brown and Company). A graduate of the Paier College of Art in New Haven, Connecticut, Ruth finds inspiration for her art in icons, Renaissance paintings, illuminated manuscripts, old engravings, and woodcuts. Ruth lives in Massachusetts, and her website can be found at www.ruthsanderson.com.
