Bruce hailed it as "well worthy to take its place alongside the really great commentaries on Romans." Following a brief introduction, Cranfield provides section-by-section and verse-by-verse commentary on Romans, based on his own translation from the Greek.

À propos de l'auteur

C. E. B. Cranfield (1915-2015) served as an army chaplain in World War II, as a pastor to prisoners of war, and as a minister before teaching theology for thirty years at the University of Durham (1950-1980). He is also the author of well-received commentaries on Mark and 1 and 2 Peter and Jude.
