James C. Olson is president emeritus of the University of Missouri. He is the author of "Red Cloud and the Sioux Problem" (Nebraska 1965). Ronald C. Naugle is Huge-Kinne Professor of History and chair of the department at Nebraska Wesleyan University. With Patricia Cox Crews, he is the author of "Nebraska Quilts and Quiltmakers" (Nebraska 1991).
