Synopsis

John Allen wants to be a wrangler more than anything else in the world. He has toiled in Kansas coal mines and worked as a gunsmith's apprentice, but nothing draws him like the notion of being called "cowboy." His yearnings take him to the drought-stricken Wyoming grasslands where he is caught up in the burgeoning war between ranchers and a daring band of rustlers.
