Patricia Lakin has written over 35 books for children, and is a self-confessed late bloomer when it comes to reading and writing. She was a teacher and discovererd her love of writing when she enrolled in a class on writing for children. Patty grew up in Boston and now lives in New York City.

Kirstie Edmunds has illustrated two books for children, and moved to illustration following a career in graphic design and art direction. Her artwork has been in the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show. She lives in London, England with her husband.
