The purpose of this book is to capture the essence of what life was like for the people working in the oil patch for the first four decades of the 20th century. Book has the beginnings of some brown spottings on the outside of the pages. Also there is a touch of wear at the head of the spine. Interior of book appears clean & binding is tight. No apparent underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, no remainder marks, no folded or dogeared pages, no smudges. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality protective cover. Dj has some wear at the head of the spine as well. There are some pale tan spots on the interior flaps of the dust jacket.
