Synopsis
This single-volume resource provides detailed information on current large-scale and longitudinal research studies focusing on early childhood development - the situations and experiences of young American children. Jeanne Brooks-Gunn is the Virginia and Leonard Marx Professor of Child Development and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Allison Sidle Fuligni is a Research Scientist at the UCLA Center for the Improvement of Child Care Quality. Lisa J. Berlin is a Research Scholar at the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke University.
