Stephen B. Bevans, SVD, who holds a PhD from the University of Notre Dame, is Louis J. Luzbetak, SVD, Professor of Mission and Culture at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. Jeffrey Gros, FSC,who holds a PhD in theology from Fordham University, is distinguished professor of ecumenical and historical theology at Memphis Theological Seminary.
