Anne E. Patrick, SNJM, is William H. Laird Professor of Religion and the Liberal Arts, emerita, at Anne E. Patrick, SNJM, is William H. Laird Professor of Religion and the Liberal Arts, emerita, at Carleton College, a member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and a past president of the Catholic Theological Society of America. She is the author of Liberating Conscience: Feminist Explorations in Catholic Moral Theology, Conscience and Calling, and many articles on religious, ethical, and literary topics. In 2013 She received the John Courtney Murray Award from the CTSA.Carleton College, a member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and a past president of the Catholic Theological Society of America. She is the author of Liberating Conscience: Feminist Explorations in Catholic Moral Theology and many articles on religious, ethical, and literary topics.
