Harriett Cholden, M.Ed., is a teacher who has helped hundreds of students of all ages--and parents--find homework solutions. John Friedman, Ph.D., is a psychologist who specializes in child and family therapy. He is on the staff of Northwestern University Medical School's Department of Psychiatry, and his writings have appeared in numerous professional journals and books. Ethel Tiersky, M.A., teaches English at Harry S. Truman College in Chicago. She is a prolific freelance writer, and has successfully helped her own three children overcome homework hurdles.
