Arthur A. Eggert is a lifelong Lutheran from rural Wisconsin. He is a professor of analytical chemistry, having worked for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Wisconsin Hospitals. Eggert has read more than 200 books about Lutheranism, church history, and Bible commentary. . He is also a regular contributor to "Forward in Christ" magazine.
