His primary research interest is government intervention in labor markets, particularly occupational safety and health and workers' compensation. He has published Workplace Safety and Health: The Role of Workers' Compensation Insurance and Small Business and Financing of Workers' Compensation. James Dworkin is Associate Dean and Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University. His research and teaching interests are collective bargaining and labor relations. He has published Owners Versus Players: Baseball and Collective Bargaining.
