Author Bio: Joan Walsh is vice president of news at Salon com. She has written frequently about the Giants for Salon, San Francisco magazine and the San Francisco Examiner. Walsh lives in San Francisco with her daughter, Nora, a fifth-generation baseball fan. Intro Author Bio: C.W. Nevius is an award-winning columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and is a regular on KTVU's Mornings on Two. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children, neither of whom has any interest in becoming a sports writer.
