À propos des auteurs

James W. Holsinger Jr., M.D., Ph.D., is the Charles T. Wethington Jr. Chair in the Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky. He served as secretary of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services from 2003 to 2005. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

F. Douglas Scutchfield, MD, FACPM is the emeritus Peter P. Bosomworth Professor of Health Services Research and Policy at the University of Kentucky. He was responsible for establishing two new schools of public health, at San Diego State University and the University of Kentucky. He was previously the editor of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, Scutchfield is coeditor of Scutchfield and Keck'sPrinciples of Public Health Practice and Contemporary Public Health: Principles, Practice, and Policy (fourth edition).
