Synopsis
Any student of American history knows of Washington, Jefferson, and the other statesmen who penned the documents that form the legal foundations of our nation, but many other great minds contributed to the development of the young republic's judicial system--figures such as William Littell, Ben Monroe, and John J. À propos de l'auteur
Kurt X. Metzmeier is professor of legal bibliography and the associate librarian of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. He is author or coauthor of several books, including United At Last: The Judicial Article and the Struggle to Reform Kentucky's Courts and Kentucky Legal Research.
