He analyzes the changing perception of racism in the West and how the use of 'race' has altered during the course of the 20th century. The defeat of Nazism (the end of World War 2) and the following Cold War was the turning point in the Western definition of 'racism'. White supremicist colonialism gave way to portraying racism as a natural part of the human condition, and thus the West continued to adopt a moral high ground to the ultimate detriment of non-Western nations.
