This heavily illustrated book provides a comprehensive description and classification of bedforms in bedrock channels over a range of spatial scales and develops a consistent terminology, placing the study of sculpted forms in bedrock on a more rational footing alongside that of depositional bedforms. The authors then use the descriptions to define general principles governing the development of sculpted forms.
