Synopsis

This collection of pronouncements, edicts and scriptures by apocalyptic movements is drawn from a wide range of traditions and ideologies. Apocalyptic fervour is often thought of as being motivated by religious belief, but Daniels argues that such groups are often more political than religious in nature.
