Synopsis
This collection of ten short stories represents almost 30 years of the author's career, including some of his most popular works. The title story is about an ageing poet who cannot write as the times demand, but his mentally handicapped son can.

Biographie de l'auteur
Born in Jerusalem in 1936, the author lives in Haifa where he teaches Comparative Literature at the university. Apart from his novels, he writes and speaks frequently on the on-going struggle to find a permanent peace with Israel's Arab neighbours
