Peter J. Strauss was a pioneer in the field of elder law. He is a partner in the New York law firm of Epstein, Becker & Green, and adjunct professor of law at the New York Law School. He is also a founding member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the co-author of the professional treatise, Aging and the Law. Nancy M. Lederman is an attorney, writer, and teacher who serves as an administrative law judge for the New York State Department of Health, the State Banking Department, and the New York City Board of Education. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and her play Fanny and Portia, about aging, won the Dorothy Silver Playwriting Award.
