He is also a founding member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the coauthor of the professional treatise, Aging and the Law. Nancy M. Lederman is an attorney, writer, and teacher who serves as an administrative law judge for the New York State Department of Health, the State Banking Department, and the New York City Board of Education. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and her play Fanny and Portia, about aging, won the Dorothy Silver Playwriting Award.
