Gentle bump to head of spine. Dust-spotting to text block. Sticker residue to front free endpaper resulting in mild surface paper loss. Very mild toning and foxing to pages that are otherwise clean. Binding is firm and sound. ABOUT THIS BOOK: Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, born in 1845, was a German physicist who made the groundbreaking discovery of X-rays in 1895. His work led to the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. Röntgen's discovery of X-rays had a profound impact on medicine, allowing for non-invasive imaging of the human body.
