Synopsis

The most recent, comprehensive book in the Catholic literature dealing with sexual ethics, this volume proposes a new model for understanding and practicing sexual creativity. The author emphasizes that human beings are much more than sexual creatures, they are sexual creators. Following a model of sexual ethics, Guidon suggests four criteria for assessing the fruitfulness of sexual behavior of men and women. He then applies those criteria to the sexual life styles of heterosexual couples, family members, gays and lesbians, and voluntary celibates.
