Expanding Curriculum Research and Understanding discusses the use of multiple research approaches (paradigms) to inquire into all aspects of curriculum (the knowledge base of schooling), with the goal of understanding the processes and the substantive dimensions of curriculum. The Author: Nelson L. Haggerson, Jr. Is Professor Emeritus of Education at Arizona State University. His six previously published books range in form and orientation from philosophical, research, biographical, and autobiographical, to poetry. He has traveled and lectured in Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Japan, India, the Philippines, and the Netherlands, pursuing his studies in education, peace, and humanities. This book is the culmination of fifty years of professional educational endeavors: from Latin teacher to Mytho-Poet.
