When dancer and choreographer Kiely Davlin is offered a job featuring six straight men in the cast plus free Tex-Mex food, she signs on the dotted line and dusts off her dance shoes. She knows Bad Business on the Brazos is sure to be a hit. But she doesn't expect a ghost problem. As in the ghost of Don Mueller, the actor who was killed during the last performance of this show fifty years ago. He's flirting with Kiely in a spectral kind of way...and a ghost can make interesting things happen to a girl. Like the gorgeous man on stage with her: Rafe Montez, her secret crush - also known as He Whose Perfect Profile Should Be on a Coin. Kiely's friend Lida thinks Rafe is only acting, but that kiss he and Kiely share in Act II sure feels real to her!

Flo Fitzpatrick was born in Washington D.C. but spent her formative years moving across countries and oceans as an Army brat. She has little memory of the chateau in Orleans, but firmly believes the Gothic setting sparked her love of mystery (and mousse au chocolat!) A performer, choreographer, and teacher, Flo holds degrees in dance and theatre, and has shuttled from Texas to New York most of her adult life. She love each state for spawning diverse, often wacky, and always colorful characters but is confident now that she's in Alabama even wilder personalities will come to mind. Flo's website is www.flofitzpatrick.com
Previously published as "Ghost of a Chance." When dancer Kiely Davlin receives a frantic call from her best friend, director Lida Rose Worthington asking her to head to Texas to choreograph the 100th anniversary of melodrama Bad Business on the Brazos, Kiely knows there's trouble ahead. She's right. Temperamental performers are one thing. But murder and the ghost of the last man to play the villain in Bad Business fifty years earlier might just send Kiely back to Manhattan - or into an early grave.
