Jim Volz is the author of How to Run a Theater. A producer with more than thirty years’ experience in the theater, he is a professor at California State University, a columnist for Back Stage magazine, and the editor of Quarto, the magazine of the Shakespeare Theatre Association. He lives in Orange Country, California.
