The sixth edition of Management of Diabetes Mellitus fully reorganizes and expands upon the previous editions. Diana W. Guthrie, RN, PhD, C, ARNP, FAAN, CDE, BC-ADM, is Professor Emeritus, Department of Pediatrics, University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. Adjunct professor appointment is held with the School of Nursing at the Wichita State University.

Richard A. Guthrie, MD, FAAP, CDE, FACE, is a clinical professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Family Practice, University of Kansas-Wichita, medical director of the Robert L. Jackson Diabetes Associates, president of Great Plains Diabetes Research, Inc., and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Endocrinologists.
