Leonard Hall has been outdoorsman, writer, wildlife photographer, farmer, and lecturer across America. Among his awards are honorary degrees from two colleges, citations from the MIssouri Conservation Department, Federal Land Bank, Outdoor Life, and many others. His books include Possum Trot Farm (Caledonia Press, 1949), Journal of the Seasons on an Ozark Farm (University of Missouri Press, 1981), and Earth's Song (University of Missouri Press, 1981).
