Synopsis
The second edition of SCIS was developed by an outstanding team of six science educators. These authors have trained thousands of SCIS teachers, conducted NSF institutes, managed SCIS Resource Centers and, most importantly, have implemented and managed SCIS in classrooms. All activities were reviewed and revised where the program could be made more effective and more easily implemented and managed. (from page 4, Credits)
