Michael Green has had a long and interesting life. With first-class degrees from both Oxford and Cambridge, he combines the gifts of both theologian and evangelist. He is an Anglican minister, has travelled in every continent to spread the gospel, and has been special adviser in evangelism to the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. He has taught in universities, been principal of a theological college, led a large university church, written more than 50 books and engaged fruitfully in church-planting overseas. He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife, Rosemary.
Gifted writer and pastor Michael Green explores the mystery and the majesty of the Son of God and gives answers to the questions that lead to faith.
'In a post-Christian society, this simple and well-written book portrays for the inquiring mind what is mere Christianity' --- Charles W. Colson

Hardback. Etat : Good. These days most people will grant that Jesus Christ was a great teacher who lived in a corner of the old Roman empire. Most also welcome his teachings as a sound basis for civilization. But what difference does that make now? Why has a whole religion been built on this person? What did he actually say and do? And how can we trust the written records about him? This fast-moving, highly readable book introduces Jesus of Nazareth honestly and openly, with no prior knowledge assumed. Michael Green is the highly respected author of more than fifty books. He has been Principal of St. John's College, Nottingham, Rector to St. Aldate's Church Oxford, and Professor of Evangelism and New Testament at Regent College, Vancouver. He now serves as Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University. N° de réf. du vendeur 00099434239
