Synopsis

The book covers all aspects of substantive law, procedure and relevant policies and deals in detail with asylum practice and the Assylum and Immigration Act 1993, providing useful parliamentary guidance as to how it is likely to be implemented, and as to its shortcomings. It also covers the Immigration Act 1988 and the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990. Changes in the Immigration Rules are included and are reproduced in the appendices in their amended form. A new section has been added on immigration from Europe.
