Synopsis

The BHS (British Horse Society) estimates that there are 900,000 children riding in the UK of whom 190,000 own ponies, all seriously dedicated to their hobby - an enormous market and there is not other competing title. This beautifully illustrated logbook contains sections for everything a young pony lover needs to record. Entries are designed to build up a complete picture of a much-loved pony from vital statistics, saddlery, stabling and clothing, to veterinary care and shoeing records. All mounted activities are covered and there are sections for favourite rides, special events, gymkhanas, riding lessons, and much more. Personal details are not forgotten and pages are provided to list riding friends, ambitions, best and worst moments, and special memories. This delightful and practical book will grow into a useful reference as well as a treasured record of the very special relationship between pony and rider.
