Original Cloth. Etat : Very Good. Denning, Mr. F.R.A.S (illustrateur). Revised Edition. New edition from 1977 based on the 1969 revised edition. Originally published in the 19th century with several editions over the years with this still being the most recent. One tiny mark to the rear panel but the boards are otherwise unmarked. Slight spotting to the endpapers but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has some light spotting and staining, a one inch patch of label residue to the rear panel which has a one inch closed tear to the bottom edge and a half-inch closed tear with some associated creasing to the top edge. Two tiny nicks to the edge of the front panel. Illustrated with maps by Mr. Denning. From the collection of Marjorie Powell, a botanist and yachtswoman who lived in Great Shelford, Cambridge.
