This book has been developed from a workshop on Technological change in agriculture and tropical deforestation organised by the Center for International Forestry Research and held in Costa Rica in March, 1999. Guidance is also given on future agricultural research and extension efforts.

À propos de l'auteur

Arild Angelsen is a Professor of Economics & Resource Management at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) and a Senior Associate of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), Indonesia. He is coordinator of the Poverty and Environment Network (PEN) and has broad experience from research in design and management and fieldwork in Indonesia and Eastern Africa.
