We relied heavily on this guide during our two week charter in the Riviera. It enabled advance planning, options, and backup plans each day. The telephone numbers and radio contact information were accurate for the Marinas we contacted, and the harbor, mooring, and anchorage maps were likeways clear and accurate. We never ran aground, we always had a berth, ball, or anchorage, and we always had good ideas of what to expect. Mr. Heikell's candid summaries of the history of various places in the area were informative and added depth to the trip. Overall this is a well written and invaluable guide to the area. I would not sail this region without a copy on board.
