Synopsis
Despite its size and importance, the Ince Blundell Collection of Classical Sculpture has never been completely catalogued or published. Part 1 of Volume 1 introduced the collection to a wider public and provided a detailed study of the female portraits. Now, in an accessible as well as authoritative presentation, Jane Fejfer gives an equally detailed and illuminating study of the much larger number of Ince Blundell male portraits. Her expert work is enhanced with excellent photographs by David Flower.
