Hardback. Etat : Fine. The Modern Soviet Navy (1979) by Norman Polmar ? Arms and Armour Press From Crappy Old Books ? because Cold War paperbacks never die, they just yellow at the edges. Norman Polmar?s The Modern Soviet Navy is a Cold War classic?part naval encyclopaedia, part geopolitical anxiety manual. Published in 1979, it?s packed with grainy photos, technical specs, and a healthy dose of Western unease about what the Kremlin might be floating beneath the waves. From guided missile cruisers to nuclear subs with names you can?t pronounce, this is the definitive snapshot of a fleet built to intimidate NATO and confuse NATO analysts. Our copy has that Cold War musk and probably spent the ?80s on a shelf next to a shortwave radio and a bottle of scotch. Slightly dog-eared, possibly redacted by time. Crappy Old Books ? We ship in peace, but we read like it?s DEFCON 2. This book is virtually as new. I have rated it fine to be safe, but it is essentially as new. I cant find a single blemish other than a possible stress mark on the front cover at the top, but even that might be the light. Its hard bacl woth perfect dust jacket that is in an out plastic protective sleeve. N° de réf. du vendeur 3842
