Kids Alive! is the UK's only weekly children's Christian comic. All the usual characters - Patch and his poochy pals, Robbie's Robot, Percy Penguin, Olive Forruthers - are there in Kids Alive!marking 125 years of Salvation Army weekly publishing for children. Bible stories, puzzles, jokes (Giggle in the Middle) and fascinating facts for children are packed into 72 pages. Horrid crimes of Bible times, the history of the FA cup, and a host of other features have been put together by the Kids Alive editorial team, helped by cartoonists such as Andy Robb, Flix Gillett, Dean Rankine and Mick Davis. This 'annual' type production could perhaps be described as the 'Beano' or 'Dandy' of the Christian world.
