Major Mel Jones, an honours graduate of Pembroke College Cambridge (MA in Natural Sciences) originates from Wrexham in Wales. Together with his wife Kath, he has served as a corps officer, divisional commander and training officer - including five years as Principal of William Booth College, London. He is currently Spiritual Life Development Secretary in the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland. Kath and Mel have three sons.
