Synopsis
Franz Marc (1880-1916) was one of the most important members of the Blue Rider group of painters, together with artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Gabriele Munter, August Macke, Paul Klee, and Alfred Kubin. This work contains the 32 sketchbooks by the artist and illustrates the hundreds of drawings he made from life as studies for works in other media.
