Alison Ritchie works as a freelance editor and writer and has published several children's books. She lives in a village in Oxfordshire with her two children and dog.

Mike Byrne grew up near Liverpool but moved to London to work as an Illustrator by day and a crayon wielding crime fighter by night. He now lives in the countryside with his wife and two cats, where he spends his days doodling and making children's books for a living.
